Only Love was originally released by Waukesha, Wisconsin's BoDeans on their second full length Ouside Looking In(Warner/Slash Records 1987). Chris Cruz rejoined The Relatives on guitar and vocals in 2020 and was a natural fit with the Everly Brothers style backing vocal for a string of Southern California shows opening for The Smithereens, Dramarama, Tubes & Motels. Plans were made to record an 6 song EP including Only Love, but Chris would leave the band in July 2020. This recording is from the pre-production for the un-recorded Relatives EP.
